Terms of use

By using atlasofseasons.com you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our disclaimer and privacy policy.
What the service is
Atlas of Seasons is a free, informational travel reference. It combines open scientific and community data to describe climate, weather, sea temperature, crowds, holidays, attractions and travel logistics for places around the world.
Acceptable use
You may browse, share and link to any page. Please do not overload the site with automated requests, attempt to break its security, or use it for anything unlawful. Large-scale copying of the site or its databases is not permitted without our written agreement.
Intellectual property and licences
The design, software, the texts we wrote and the way the data is compiled belong to Atlas of Seasons.
Parts of the content come from open sources under their own licences, which continue to apply: Wikivoyage and Wikipedia excerpts (CC BY-SA 4.0), Wikimedia Commons images (licence and author as stated on each file’s page), OpenStreetMap data (ODbL) and the scientific datasets listed on our About page. Reuse of those parts must follow the original licence and attribution.
External links and partners
We link to other websites, including booking partners. We do not control their content, prices or availability, and any booking you make is a contract between you and that provider.
No warranty
We work hard to be accurate, but the information is provided “as is”, without any guarantee of completeness, accuracy or availability. Forecasts, climate averages and estimates can differ from real conditions. Always check critical details — especially safety advice, entry requirements and opening times — with official sources before you travel.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from the use of, or reliance on, information on this site, or from the services of third parties linked from it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies from the “last updated” date. Questions: [email protected].
