Free weather widget for your website
Pick a place, choose a layout and colours, then copy one line of code. The widget shows live conditions and the forecast, updates itself and works on any site — WordPress, Wix, Shopify or plain HTML.
<div class="aos-weather" data-place="5128581" data-lang="en" data-label="Weather in New York" style="max-width:420px"></div>
<script async src="https://atlasofseasons.com/widget.js"></script> Lazy-loads and fits its height automatically. Add the script tag once per page, even with several widgets.
<iframe src="https://atlasofseasons.com/widget/v1/5128581?lang=en" title="Weather in New York" width="100%" height="399" style="border:0;display:block;max-width:420px;" loading="lazy"></iframe> Works where scripts are not allowed. The height is fixed — adjust it if you change the options later.

The widget is a small, server-rendered card that loads in a fraction of a second: no web fonts, no tracking scripts, no cookies and no ads. Icons are inline SVG and the forecast is refreshed every 15 minutes, so your page stays fast and your visitors always see current weather.
It is free for personal and commercial sites. The only condition is the small “Weather · Atlas of Seasons” link at the bottom of the widget, which must stay visible.

Questions about the weather widget
Is the weather widget really free?
Yes. You can use it on as many personal or commercial websites as you like, at no cost and without an account or API key. Please keep the small attribution link visible.
How do I add the weather widget to my website?
Choose a place and the look you want above, copy the code and paste it into your page where the widget should appear — in WordPress use a Custom HTML block, in Wix an Embed HTML element, in Shopify a Custom Liquid section.
How often is the forecast updated?
Current conditions and the forecast are refreshed about every 15 minutes from global weather models. You never need to change the code: the widget always shows the latest data.
Will the widget slow down my site?
No. The script is under 3 KB, loads asynchronously and only creates the widget when it scrolls into view. The widget itself is a few kilobytes of HTML with no fonts, images or trackers.
Does the widget set cookies or track visitors?
No. The widget uses no cookies, no local storage and no analytics, so it does not need a cookie banner entry.
Can I show several places on one page?
Yes. Add one code block per place; with the script version you only need the script tag once per page.
